Starboy's Star-Crossed Trophy (entry no.19)

I don't know why but I've been scared of my computer for the past two days. It goes like this; I want to write an entry, I pick up my computer, turn it on and then quickly turn it off and put it back on my desk, I then put my headphones on, blast music, and walk away. But this to be or not to be dance is killing me and Hamlet is a prime example of the consequences of inaction. Therefore I have valiantly picked up my laptop and have let the thoughts loose as my hands run along the keyboard and try to keep up. I think that's why I've been avoiding my computer, I'm scared of thinking, scared of feeling too much cuz I always do.

I'm also scared of being a little too deep and honest, especially after last post. I don't think I overshared but I definitely came closer than I normally do. These entries aren't some secret diary that only I have access to. They are also not meant to be a place for me to rant about my problems or cry and complain. The vibes are "Hi I'm Abby and welcome to my TED Talk". They are insightful while also casually breezy. So with that in mind I will now dedicate the rest of this post to Arsenal, in honor of their amazing 23/24 campaign.

First of all, what a team! From Odegaard to Saliba to Martinelli to the Starboy himself everyone has played phenomenally (except Raya but I don't wanna get into that). I'm especially impressed with our new transfers Declan Rice and Kai Havertz. Although I can't deny the fact that I totally thought they were overpriced transfers, they have stepped up to the plate and have done so much better than I imagined. Kai Havertz especially in this regard since I literally had no hope for him but next thing I know it's "tsamina mina, eh, eh, waka, waka, eh, eh, sixty million down the drain, Kai Havertz scores again". If you don't know what I'm talking about look it up cuz it's marvelous.

It truly is a shame that it didn't work out for us in the end and we came second, but it was still an amazing performance this season. It was such an exciting title race and it's so lame that it ended with Man City on top. If we were gonna come second I wanted it to end with Liverpool so Klopp could have one final hurrah. It's ok, we'll get'em next year, that or we'll bottle it again. As they say, third times a charm and sooner or later that Premier League trophy is coming to the Emirates.

You're still here? Meet me at entry no.20 :)
