These teachers are about to get schooled (entry no.3)
Once again I find myself writing while "listening" to an online lecture. This one is about call tracking management and once again yes it is as boring as it sounds. There is so much theory that I feel like I don't understand English. Which got me thinking about the dangers of over-explaining concepts. For example, I am currently learning about the release management lifecycle. Essentially, it's how an IT company releases a product or service to it's client. Like all life cycles there are steps such as; plan, design/build, improve, and so on. Simple enough... but when you spend a solid hour explaining it, I feel like I've learned nothing. But despite this common college experience, I have learned a lot about the art of teaching by observing my professors. First and foremost, I have learned that having a lot of knowledge does not make you a good teacher. Especially when that knowledge is accompanied by a massive ego.
