As sweet as can be (entry no.13)
I have a confession. I did not go for a run on Monday morning. I don't know what psycho came up with that plan because that is absolute insanity. However, I did go on a run today in the afternoon. The weather was perfect for it but I must admit that I am embarrassingly out of shape. I had to take walking breaks which was truly a humbling experience for me. I remember back when I was in middle school I would try out for the cross country team in September after spending months rotting away in front of the TV in my pjs during the summer. I thought this run would produce similar results but obviously I could not be more wrong.
It was fun though. I'm gonna try to do it again this Friday, I also did a half hour ab workout after I finished my run cuz why not. I am definitely going to be in pain tomorrow but I know that I am also going to sleep well tonight. I've never had problems sleeping and for that I will always be grateful. I stay up late and I don't sleep enough but that's more because of poor decisions rather than insomnia. What can I say, I love the late night vibes. Around midnight I start listening to music and staring up at the celling thinking and next thing I know an hour or two passes.
I forgot to mention this in my last entry but last Saturday I went to Canada's Wonderland with some friends and it was super fun. I used to live 10 minutes away from the park and I remember going every summer when I was a kid. Thunder Run was always my favorite ride. Back then it was one of the only rides that actually went inside Wonder Mountain. I've always loved roller coasters so obviously when I went on Saturday I had to go on Behemoth, Leviathan, and Yukon Striker. It doesn't feel like I had a proper day at Canada's Wonderland without those three rides. That and a funnel cake obviously.
As I get older, I'm finding that I love deserts more and more, especially ones that are strawberry flavored. I know I mentioned this in another entry but I LOVE strawberry milkshakes. I should buy ice cream one of these days so I can make myself one, not gonna lie I make GOOD strawberry milkshakes. But despite that, the best strawberry milkshake I've ever had is from an ice cream place in Toronto called Dutch Dreams. If you haven't been I strongly recommend it. Anyways, that's enough rambling for today, sorry if I made you hungry.
You're still here? Meet me at entry no.14 :)
