Endings & Beginnings (entry no.48)

Hello hello! It's been nearly a month since my last entry although I desperately wanted to write another entry last week. However, these last few weeks have thrown a lot of curveballs at me. Nothing I can't manage obviously but curveballs nonetheless. Exactly a week ago, I attended my last in person class of my program and 5 days ago I submitted my final assignment. After entries upon entries talking about April it's finally here! I'm done and I couldn't be happier! I genuinely feel like I'm dreaming, I feel light as a feather yet my heart is so full it could burst!

To my friends and family who actually read my entries, thank you so very much for coming along on this spectacular journey. And when I say journey, I mean the WHOLE journey. Work, school, pioneering, I will never be that triple threat again. I'm mostly relieved about that but also a little sad because it's the end of an era. I'm saying goodbye to the craziest and most resilient person I've ever had the privilege of knowing. The Abby who started her first job on the week of her very first midterms. The Abby who went straight from finals to pioneer school in 2023, who sobbed in the car when the day was done because she had to go work.

It's truly amazing what you can accomplish when you have a support system as strong as mine. I'm forever grateful to all of you and hope I've made you proud. A new era also signifies new and exciting changes. Fore example, I got my computer back! I am no longer using my dad's computer to complete last minute assignments after mine broke down at the end of semester 3. I once again have my beautiful little white laptop, now freshly decorated with stickers courtesy of one of my favorite work homies :) Also, I now have bangs! I'm bringing them back just like I said I would back in entry no.45. I'll also get to start working on a super cool volunteer project on May 5th and I couldn't be happier.

But what's truly beautiful about all of this is that you dear reader have been around for nearly the whole journey. "Something Inconspicuous" is now over a year old! We've laughed, we've cried, we've done it all. I mean, if you didn't that's ok but I certainly did a lot of both of those while writing these entries. We've defended the queen of white girl bangers Taylor Swift, we've cheered Bukayo Saka and his star-crossed trophy. We've danced in the rain as Strawberry Shortcake, learnt Portuguese, obsessed over candy canes, and of course defied gravity! Smiles, laughter, love, tears, heartbreak, sweat, and probably even blood has gone into this blog, this beautiful life of mine. I know I say it all the time but thanks for sticking around, I mean that from the bottom of my heart.

You're still here? Meet me at entry no.49 :)
