Me & Magdalena (entry no.44)
To be honest I have no idea where this entry is gonna go. I'm currently in class and have a 15 minute break and am getting incredibly annoyed at two of my classmates who are talking up our professor. The class is Anthropology, it's my elective for this college semester. I'm actually enjoying it so far. The content is interesting and my professor is cool, but there are quite a few tryhards that are driving me nuts. It's literally an elective, you can chill and still be interested and engaged. Everything in balance, there is no need to teach the teacher.
That being said, in my last entry I hadn't started my fourth semester yet so I guess I'll catch you up to speed. Tomorrow I wrap up week 3 of this semester. I'm starting to get used to having school five days a week, it's actually not too bad but Fridays have been a little rough. The two classes I have that day are definitely the hardest this semester. The first I have in the morning is Web Technologies and the second is MS PowerShell Scripting. However MS PowerShell Scripting is by far the hardest, the teacher releases our labs in the middle of class at 3:00 pm and they are due at 6:00 pm...
Fast forward almost a week and I have returned to finish this entry... I know what your thinking. "But didn't she say that she hates not writing an entry in one sitting? What's the whole point of this entry if it's from the perspective of two different Abbys? Doesn't that make this whole thing incohesive?" To answer all your questions, yes. But you're reading this entry because you find me and all variations of me interesting enough to stick around. If you didn't you would've closed the tab by now. Also, I actually really like the way I started this entry off, so I'm keeping it and if that's a problem then too bad so sad.
I ended up cutting off my entry on Thursday after two paragraphs because my 15 minute break ended. My original plan was to continue writing this entry later that night when I got home from school but it simply did not happen. So now I'm trying to pick things up where I left off but the word count is quickly approaching. Fun fact, I don't actually have a word count for these entries but when the paragraphs are taking up my whole computer screen it's a good indication that I should probably wrap things up. I was also completely kidding myself when I thought I could write this entry in 15 minutes since it always takes a minimum of 30.
However, most of my entries actually take about an hour to write since there is a lot of thinking and paraphrasing going on. I'll write another entry again soon since this one kinda feels like a cop out since it was done in two sittings. Point is, college is going good, I'm a little all over the place but it's good. My grades are good and although life is busy and stressful, it's also good. To wrap this up, I'll give you a little song recommendation just for the heck of it. "Me & Magdalena" by The Monkees which truly feels like the epitome of good wrapped in 3.5 minutes.
You're still here? Meet me at entry no.45 :)
